I think there is a threshold. When you have no followers you are in the hands of the algorithms to get reads. And it is very slow as you rely on people searching for your exact topic. Once you have built a platform of followers then your content appears to a lot more people and then you get much more engagement. My aim.. somewhere over 100 then I will focus on more writing. Followed you and appreciate a follow and followback from anyone. And look forward to engaging.
